How to Play FIRE EMBLEM IF with SKY3DS and Pasta CFW 1.3?

Sky3ds can play CIA games with Pasta CFW on OLD 3DS 4.1-9.2 and NEW 9.0-9.2. Recently Fire Emblem If – Anya Oukoku/Awakening is hot but it needs to play on 3ds firmware over 9.7. However, we can play the CIA file on your 3ds 9.2~4.1.

Here we go,

1, prepared the SKY3DS, ROM of Cubic Ninja and 2  Micro sd cards , Pasta CFW files ,CIA file of Fire Emblem If – Anya Oukoku/Awakening

2,  Please download pasta cfw1.3.zip and unzip all all the filee to the root of your 3DS Micro SD card. Insert sky3ds with Cubic Ninja in Micro SD card to your3DS console.

3, Bootup”PastaCFW Configurator” , select your 3DS model and disk. And then click Download button to write data.
When the writing finished, the following pictures will show.

4, Bootup your 3DS console and wifi, bootup Cubic Ninja→EDIT→QR Code →read QR Code( go to http://smealum.net/ninjhax and enter your 3ds console version, ther will be a QR code for you.)
After scanning, the homebrew launcher(Pasta CFW loader andFBI) will appear.

5, Bootup Pasta CFW loader, and it will be back to 3DS console menu interface. Run Cubic Ninja→EDIT→QR Code →read QR Code again;
Press L+A to run Pasta CFW loader, the Pasta CFW menu will appear as the following. You can make a backup of your 3DS console data.
Select “options” -Enable FirmLaunch(Chane to yes by left/right buttons)-A(save)

How to Use Rxtools to Emunand 9.7.0 with Sky3ds?

Rxtools is a project, allowing us emunand reading to 9.7.0-25 without gateway 3ds. That is to say, you have access to ESHOP, download the latest games patches, games update or play higher games requiring higher version such as you can play the Ver 9.6.0, 9.7.0 games on your o3ds 9.2.0-xx. This feature is very useful, right?

As is known to us, now gateway 3ds  can only support 3ds 4.1~9.2 (with beta emunand 9.5.0). How can these players with console firmware below 9.2  to do when  they want to go eshop, play higher version games? Now the good solution is using the Rxtools with SKY3DS. Yep, SKY3DS works well on rxmode but gateway doesn’t so far.

How to set up rxtools with SKY3DS?

Go to the official rxtools webpage, http://www.rxtools.net/#!howto and choose your the firmware your console is such as 8.1

and Browser available>> click “SEND” where there is use instructions  in brief. Here i would like to introduce in details with my 3ds 8.1

1. Get necessary 3 files,

rxTools.dat and firmware.bin(open cdn_firm.exe to creat)， download “slot0x25KeyX.bin ” on google

1.1 go to download part, download the rx v2.3 (of course you can download the latest v2.4 but personally v2.3 is more stable)

and unzip the file. you can get these files

 

1.2  double click “cdn_firm.exe” to creat the” firmware.bin”. Now you have 2 necessary files already, “rxTools.dat”  and “firmware.bin”.

1.3, download the “slot0x25KeyX.bin ” on google search.

In the end, put this 3 files into the root of your sd card,Place the SD card in your 3DS.

2.Booting rxTools

2.1 Start the webbrowser and visit  www. launch.rxTools.net

2.2 Choose the first choice”launch rxtools” click “A” then the rxTools will be booted, you can see that it is  RX-E 9.7.0-25E (of course i have update the rxmode to latest 9.7.0) The icons has been changed.

2.3 Put your games (not support on your 8.1.0  ) into SKY3DS (of course pre write successfully through diskwrite) you can play it now.

What is Rxtools?

As is known to us all, now latest o3ds firmware is 9.7.0-25E/U/J, if your console version is below this version, you have no access to eshop  then there is no way for you to download the patches, update some games. Furthermore, it has great risk that you update your Sysnand(firmware) to higher version by accident when turning on wifi on. Then your gateway 3ds(only supporting 3ds 4.1~9.2 and emunand 9.5.0) would be dead.And you can’t enjoy some games needing higher version than your console.

SKY3DS Private Header Problems

Are you using the SKY3DS?Nobody want to be banned, right? Here SKY3DS official team released the SkyTempIDEdit tool allowing us to built the private header during online play then i won’t be banned. Do you know much about private/public header business?  i will answer as my own understanding. It’s a unique way to identify a game to your device and is used when playing online. What will happen when 100 persons use the “unique”header/public header together? Nintendo is able to see how many instances of that game with the same header. When they see 100 devices with the exact same header then comes the BAN HAMMER.

SKY3DS Samples Tests and Review

All 3DS player  are focusing  on the New 3ds flashcard SKY3DS. Fortunately, we receive the first batch samples for test functions. Pre-order SKY3DS click here.

The appearance  of  SKY3DS first slight is  almost the same as general real game card, but with a little difference is that there is a slot for SD, a switch for changing games by slightly press one time, and a signal light for reminding us when we plug into the sky3ds or changing the games.

Friends who keep an eye on SKY3DS may know that at present sky3ds can’t break the region lock. We got copy some Us version Rom, such as Super Mario 3D Land”, “Animal Crossing: New Leaf”, it is true that there is no way for Japanese console to read these games. We have no idea much more about whether the download Roms into the SD card or the SKY3DS card itself, but we guess it is the former.

System version restriction aspect, we do undergoing many tests. It is true that as the official said sky3ds can directly work on 3ds 9.x firmware or any old 3ds/3ds xl/ new 3ds/LL or older 2ds console( this is interesting and good news for old 2ds owners because you can play free 3ds games with sky3ds). Also we can edit, save during playing games and connecting wifi, sky3ds indeed support eshop, online play with your friends.

By the way, you cannot just simply copy games into micro sd card directly. you have to flash them into it by a special tool. And you cannot open to read the contents directly after connecting the microsd(pre-flashed roms by tool) to PC, it will be an warning for formatting the micro card. ..
